Cooking
1. Rinse 1–2 teaspoons of seeds well.
2. Roast or fry lightly in 1–2 teaspoons of oil until aromatic (seeds turn golden-brown).
3. Add to curries, dals, pickles, or spice blends for flavor.
Sprouting
1. Rinse about 2 tablespoons of seeds thoroughly.
2. Soak in 1 cup of water overnight.
3. Drain the next morning and keep in a clean, moist cloth or sprouting jar.
4. Rinse and drain twice daily until sprouts appear (2–3 days).
- Use sprouts in salads, sandwiches, or as a garnish.
Home Remedies
