Will be a regular buyer!
This whisky is one of the best I've tasted! Incredibly smooth and easy to drink (too easy!) It's got a lovely rich taste on its own and mixed. It will definitely be a regular treat _x000D_

still savouring
i was surprised at the smoothness of this and even though i prefer rum casked malts i found that due to the sweeter tones quite mellow and enjoyable i will be happy to recommend this to other single malt drinkers

Great wee single malt
The Balvenie Doublewood is a fantastic whisky. Very smooth to drink and lovely characteristics from the barrel. I'd recommend purchasing this if you want to get into malt whisky, or as a gift. As a whisky fan myself I'd definitely buy again.

Smooth and sweet
A special treat which has a deep fruity scent. Easy to drink with a sweet taste and the aftertaste is just as good as drinking. A new firm favourite which will be brought out at any occasion and will surely be liked by all._x000D_

The Balvenie Double Wood Aged 12 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky is Very nice and classy . It is exactly what I expected from 12 years old scotch . I would recommend it to all of my friends .Very pleased.

Nice smooth flavour
This whisky has a well balanced taste that lingers. The bottle looks nice and for the value it is definitely one that I would buy for a Christmas hosting gift. Something to share with guests of course!

Very pleasant tipple
Really enjoyable and easy to drink being a little sweet and justca tadge spicey, perfect to indulge in to relax after a days graft. I prefer it after sitting it a couple of hours in the freezer then straight from a chilled glass.

This was incredibly enjoyable and easy to drink. You could actually taste the different flavors. ( honey, vanilla which you rarely can actually taste in it when it's said to be and the cinnamon without it tasting like Christmas ) there is only a very slight nice warmth to it at the end none of that sharp sting!

Finishes with a little spice and the richness fading to sweetness._x000D_
Just enough sherry cask influence to create a wonderful balance without the cloying sweetness an over-sherried malt can have._x000D_

The smoothness and complexity achieved from the bourbon and sherry cask combination makes for a smooth whisky with a complexity beyond its 12 year aging. Honey and floral notes, sweet woody finish and a gentle smolder on the way out.
