I had high hopes for Balvenie Doublewood 12 year, but unfortunately it wasnt for me. I found it quite rough, whilst I did get the Sherry notes I didnt get much else, no vanilla or honey and found it left a bit of an after taste in my mouth which I didnt enjoy. I know its 'DoubleWood' but thought the whisky was particularly 'woody' and for me I found that off putting and over powering. I'm sure others will love Balvenie, but its just not for me sadly

Taste suprised ne deeply. Greate texture, love the after taste. It is criminal to add anything apart the ice rocks. Lovely clear colour, tastefull packaging perfect for every occasion. Would recommend ti anyone

Tried this tester out with two granite ice cubes to cool. It tasted smoky at first with wooden overtones that end with warming heat. Definitely a nice evening drink and I would easily recommend this fine tipple.

I liked that I could get a small bottle to try the product as it is always a gamble when buying a full-sized bottle without trying it out first. The whisky does not disappoint -- it has a pleasant, smooth, slightly woody taste. I would buy it again.

Sampled The Balvenie Doublewood 12 year old single malt and wasn't disappointed, Mixed with a little bit of ice to let the flavours mature,there was a distinct taste of cherry and raspberry sponge cake aroma along with a hint of cinnamon._x000D_
It left a very satisfying taste of spiced fruit cake in your mouth. _x000D_
A good balanced whiskey which left me wanting more! well worthy of a try if you love whiskey like I do.

Loved this whisky lovely with lots of ice , highly recommend this whisky great for after dinner drink or just sip and enjoy can definitely smell the wood this drink , being Scottish love a good whiskey and this is definitely 1 of them .

A beautiful easy to drink single malt, perfect for sipping. Smooth, fruity and sweet. Ideal for those who think they don't like Whisky as it's easy on the smoke. I would thoroughly recommend this to all
