How to Play the Game:
A player becomes a winner or one of the winners, depending on the game level played if they answer correctly all questions and become champions.
Equipment of the Game:
50 Quiz Question Cards 1 Rules Card 1 Play-O-Meter Card Players: 1 to 10
Playing the game:
1. An educator or a parent has to choose or help the players choose the level of the game they want to play between the 2 levels: Pentagon and Decagon
2. Set up the area where the game will be played, and take out 2 of the 52 cards, i.e, Rules and Play-O-Meter cards, and put them visibly on the playing area.
3. Shuffle the rest of the 50 cards and place them - face down - on the playing area.
4. An educator or a parent becomes a quiz master and guides the game or assists the players to choose a quiz master unless they are playing a 2-player game where each player is a quiz master.
5. Each player must allow the quiz master to draw a quiz card on top of the cards, and then order the player to pick any quiz question from 1 to 11 or from 1 to 12 quiz questions on each card.
6. After the player has chosen a question, the quiz master must hold the card at the bottom - as shown by black arrows at the front of the card while giving the opportunity to other players to focus on the blocks at the back of the card for a relevant question - and then the quiz master asks a question.
7. For each correct answer, the player is awarded 1 point and become a Monogon and then move on becoming different shapes up to a champion in one and/or two championship levels - Pentagon and Decagon, depending on game level played.
8. Themes on Quiz Questions are allocated in the cards as follows: Shapes & Colours + Fruits & Vegetables + Animals (Cards 1 to 22): 11 Questions per card; Odd One Out (Card 23): 12 Questions per card; Match the Shapes (Card 24): 12 Questions per card; Numbers & Fractions + Letters (Cards 25 to 50): 11 Questions per card; and Spelling Bee questions (Cards 25 to 50).
9. Each card that has been used, is returned back and put at the bottom of other cards located on the table or in the playing area.
10. The questions are answered on the basis of a universal agreement between the players unless proven otherwise.
11. It remains a responsibility of an educator or a parent to help guide a player to choose a relevant question depending on their assessment of the learner’s level of understanding to avoid difficult questions meant for other terms and/or grades.
