Proprietary name and dosage form: Brooklax® senna laxative chocolate (tablets). Composition: Each chocolate tablet contains 50 mg calcium sennoside 60% (equivalent to 30 mg sennoside A & B) and 175 mg hydrogenated palm kernel oil as an anti-oxidant. Pharmacological classification: A 11.5 laxatives. Pharmacological action: Promotes bowel movement by direct stimulating actions on the intestine. Indications: For the relief of occasional constipation. Identification: Brown, rectangular, scored chocolate tablets marked Brooklax on each half.
