I am a professional artist and former art teacher, basically I know my paints. These are barely hobbyiest quality, which is sad for a product that claims to be student grade. They are barely pigmented, I have four layers on my canvas and I can still see through. They mix poorly and the strength changes from tube to tube, the Crimson is strong enough to be used but the lemon yellow is barely strong enough to even tint other colours. What a great variety of colors

Perfect for beginner's who are interested in trying acrylic paints. Not top quality, but it is perfect for someone who wants to try painting.

I got these for my kids so they didn't need to be artist quality or anything. I was so upset after my child worked so hard on a painting to find that after drying the colors fade. Especially the white!!! We had to repaint with craft acrylics. I will tell you the 50cent craft paint you can get in the same aisle at Walmart worked much better for us.
