I bought these paint tube sets for Christmas presents

These are bar none the worst watercolors I have ever used. Every one was grainy beyond normal granulation and several dry which was odd considering they were in sealed tubes you had to break open. I gabs them 2 stars rather than a single star because they do have a good pigment load. If you're wanting these for a beginner I recommend Prang or Crayola, both of which are less frustrating.

I bought these for a college art project while in a rush and needed something cheap. Never again. They are incredibly uneven on the paper, they have barely any pigment at all, they are not buildable either. When you try to layer them up, the product moves around underneath. If you want some cheap watercolors for the same price, try the royal and langnickel tubes.

I love these normally so i went to buy another box. Never again will i buy them online. God forbid i be in a hurry to do something. Because I'm missing two colors!!

I can't use watercolor paints could u not have found a different type of acryllic paint or just not picked it at all

When I first bought these (2016-2018?), I thought they were great. Maybe they were, or maybe I was too much of an amateur at watercolor. I gave it 2 stars because they aren't chalky feeling and are quite transparent too. The BIGGEST flaw of these paints is how they lay down. They are streaky and have uneven flow no matter how much water I use. Ahah! I found a neat trick to make them usable. Mix a teensy bit of dish soap with water (around a 1/2 teaspoon of soap and 1 cup of distilled water) u...

This set includes twelve .4 ounce tubes of watercolors. The watercolors mix beautifully and make excellent washes. Each tube is sealed and you flip the cap to puncture the top before use. They worked very well for our home art projects.
