They are just barely above ok. You'd probably just about better off buying one of the cheap dry pallettes. Colors are weak. If you try to concentrate them enough to have a strong color they won't spread or flow correctly.

If you can swing the cost, just grab a starter palette of student grade paints from Windsor and Newton like their Cotman line. They aren't that much more expensive but are a world apart in quality.

My husband's first time using these and he said they were pretty good.

The paints have nice pigmentation and blend beautifully.

Paints are below average quality at first but you can work with them. Within a year, they turn clumpy and frustrating to paint with. They also are weirdly slimy? If I do not dilute them to the max, they lay on the paper like colored jelly. I do like that they are not chalky. Their aquafine watercolor paper is great quality, so I guess I got what I payed for. Even though I haven’t tried their aquafine watercolors, I no doubt know they are better quality. Please get those ins...

Great price and arrived on time! I would have gave it 5 stars but I am missing one tube of paint...white. Go figure

I made the mistake of buying these same brand but in the pans and it was terrible these however are so pigment they’re great!

I am very disappointed in these. The colors are not bright. They go on and dry blotchy with a some what chalky finish. I thought the addition of a little glycerin might help so I loaded them into half trays and added a couple of drops. Every single color cracked and fell out and the glycerin was no help at all. Crayola water colors are better than these. I like this brand for some affordable art supplies but their watercolors are not in that category.

The color LOOKS good but the quality is poor, gummy materials. Hard to mix well with water, look strikey on paper.

Very satisfied with these tubes of watercolor. Also pleased with the quick delivery.
