The agitation can damage the internal heating elements and sensors, Detachable Controllers: Must unplug and remove both controllers before the blanket comes into contact with water., Detergent: Use a small amount of mild, neutral liquid detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh chemical cleaners., Process: Soak the blanket in lukewarm water for about 15 minutes, gently squeeze the soapy water through, and rinse thoroughly in cool water. Do not wring or twist the blanket, as this can break the internal wiring., Air Dry Only: Drape the blanket flat across a clothesline or a sturdy drying rack., No Pegs: Avoid using clothes pegs on the wired areas of the blanket, as they can pinch and damage the heating wire insulation., Do Not Tumble Dry: The high heat and tumbling action will ruin the internal components and the non-woven polyester fabric

    • Positioning: Place the blanket directly onto your mattress. Ensure the cord/controller end is at the head of the bed so the controls are within easy reach, Securing: Use the attached tie-down tapes to secure the blanket to the mattress. Pull them tight enough to ensure the blanket is flat and free of folds or rucks, Layering: Cover the electric blanket with your usual fitted sheet. Never sleep directly on the electric blanket itself., Pre-Heating: For the best results, switch the blanket to the highest setting (Setting 3) about 30 minutes before you go to bed. Cover the bed with your duvet to trap the heat., Adjusting: Once you get into bed, turn the setting down to 1 or 2 for a comfortable, constant warmth throughout the night, or switch it off entirely
