Since PLA (polylactic acid) is derived from organic materials like sugar cane or maize, it is the holy grail of polymers in terms of environmental friendliness. Due to the polymer additives in the product, there is frequently an odor when printing with contaminated PLA. There is hardly any smell to pure PLA. Fil X has created a pure and clean PLA filament that is completely environmentally friendly, devoid of any chemicals like masterbatch or stabilizers that might impair PLA's biodegradable qualities.
