    • Adults and children over 12 years: 10-20 ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children 6-12 years: 5-10 ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.

    Usage Description
    • Shake the bottle well before use. Do not take more than the recommended dose.
    Side Effects
    • This medicine can cause side effects such as constipation, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. If you experience any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
    How it Works
    • Gaviscon can be used to treat heartburn (acid reflux) and indigestion. The medicine works by forming a protective layer that floats on top of the contents of your stomach. This stops stomach acid escaping up into your food pipe.
