    Ideal Dosage
    • Adults and children over 12 years: 10 to 20 ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children 6 to 12 years: 5 to 10 ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children under 6 years: Not recommended.

    Usage Description
    • Shake the bottle well before use. Do not take more than the recommended dose. If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor.
    Side Effects
    • Gaviscon Plus may cause some side effects, such as constipation, diarrhoea and flatulence.
    How it Works
    • Gaviscon Double Action Liquid works by forming a protective barrier on top of the stomach contents, which prevents acid from coming up into the oesophagus. It also neutralises stomach acid and reduces the production of gas.

    • Do not take Gaviscon Plus if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not take Gaviscon Plus if you have kidney problems. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking any other medicines. Gaviscon Plus may interact with some medicines, such as tetracycline antibiotics and digoxin. Do not take Gaviscon Plus for more than 7 days without talking to your doctor.
