Absoubltly trash batteries general public taken for a ride when there was not enough information available about gel batteries Paid 12k for this trash batteries lasted 3 months replacement costs almost the cost of a replacement unit in total. I do not recommend at all

Batteries only lasted 2 months waist of money.This unit can only be used on Stage 1 load shedding so basically it cannot be used in South africa.

Avoid this product at all cost. Bought unit in November 2022. Battery lasted for one month. Send it in for repairs. Battery lasted two weeks after repairs. I was informed there is only 1 x week guarantee after repairs. No refund from Gentech or Makro. I was offered to buy a new gel battery from Gentech. I refused. R8400 down the drain. I strongly believe problem lies with battery. All stock batteries probably dead
