Do your homework AVOID gel and agm batteries at all costs if you use this during stage 4 load shedding the batteries will be dead in 3 months and you would have waisted a lot of money and this thing is very very noisy while it charges and delivers power. Other brands are not as noisy, Battery replacement equal to or a bit more expensive as the cost of buying this if you use it one time a day it has to charge for 24 hours to recover

Crap product only woked for 3 months. Old battery stock, lots of people with the same problem. No refund.

I bought this product on 16/05/2023, a complete waste of money, it worked perfectly the first three times I used it, the fourth attempt it wouldn’t even power up a TV.

After only three months. The batteries last 4-8 minutes on 18% load! Had an Ellies version of this! Lasted 2 years until a power surge ended its life! This one! Just plain old waist of money! Would give it minus 5 stars if possible!

I wish there were more reviews to warn me about this product. I see now on the website there is a disclaimer about battery lasting. This is the worst ypu can buy, the Ellies product is better.

DO NOT BUY THIS. HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND CRAP AFTER SERVICE. LAST 2 MONTHS. I bought my unit on 13 December 2022 and in early March my unit just gave me 30mins of use, at most. (From which time i never used it again)I don't live close to a Makro and could only take it in April. The feedback was that I discharged yhe unit too much and left it on charge so it crystallized the batteries. Biggest load of BS product.

I bought this inverter in November 2022 for R14,000. Did not last more than 1and a half hours when it was load shedding. Only had 1 TV and a LED bulb plugged in on inverter. Took it in and when returned after Johan of Gentech allegedly fixed it it only worked for about 30 minutes. Now they say it is out of battery warrantee as it is over the 3 months and the batteries is over its live span. Bought product and it could not hold charge, batteries were replaced twice, did not fix issue, worked for a week, then the same issue, 1 laptop and monitor would only work for half an hour, i just gave up because driving out to gentech was costing me time off from work.

Very poor poroduct especially the batteries. I replaced the batteries with a different brand and it works just fine. The gentech batteries are of a substsndard and poor quality. Do not buy this product.
