I had no idea that my HP Officejet Pro 8000 had PRINTHEADS! I encountered printheads with non-HP printers owned by friends and the printheads seemed to give those other brand printers constant printing quality issues.

Had I known this particular printer came with them, I would not have purchased the printer. With that said, the printer is now working well and I am pleased with its performance. I am also informed that separate printheads are no longer part of this type of printer!

New printhead works fine but still do not understand why printhead needed replaced on a printer that was less than 1 year old and did not see high usage. Otherwise very happy with the printer and it is one of 3 that I use.

this product continues to try and alignment with printer causing many problem printing ,faxing

Don't know how they worked because Officejet pro 8000 printer indicating it was out of black ink does not recognize the new cartridge-still says it is out of ink and won't print. Very disappointed in the printer--it has been flimsy and erratic from day one. Now unusable

I purchased two new print heads for my HP printer. The old print heads had been installed for about a year and completely quit working. The new heads were expensive but did restore my printer to proper operation. I hope they last longer than the last print heads, which had replaced long-lasting printheads that had come with the new printer years ago.

I'm not sure who will see this review. Perhaps my mistake but the cartridge you sent me doesn't fit my printer. Am not clear what I should have ordered.

My company has owned about 15 HP Printers and the 940 Printheads used in their 8500 have been nothing but trouble since I bought the 8500 in late Oct of 2011. After 5 dead/clogged printheads I have given up and purchased an 8600 that appears to be much better. HP has replaced my last set of 940 Print Heads for free under warranty so kudos to them but I will only now use the 8500 as a backup printer with new HP Ink Cartridges. Run for the hills from the 8500 is all I can say! Buy an 8600 instead.

I needed this printhead. Though I am a little upset that exactly one month after the warranty ran out (2 years 1 month) on my other printhead, I had to buy a new one. Not good.

I bought my HP 8500 10 years ago. Ran a diagnostic and it told me exactly what I needed. Replaced the print heads and it works like a charm again!

Replaced the printheads on my printer I've owned for 10+ years and it now works like new.
