There have been some complaints about this printhead, but it installed easily and is working perfectly for me. Status reads Green: good. (Go to HP Solution Center/ Tools/ Print Settings/ Printer Toolbox/ information.)

Old printhead, still in warranty, was replaced resolving the a to align problem and repetitive cleaning requirement.
Old printhead was still in warranty, but could not navigate through the HP warranty minefield, so just gave up and bought a new one.

I was having trouble with my colors, orange, yellow and green. Black was bleeding into the yellow. Saw a note on the HP Solutions website that recommended I replace the Black & Yellow Officejet printhead and Vwalllaa! It fixed it good as new. My oranges, yellows and greens are printing truer.

I replaced this printhead after 3 years of use. Seems reasonable amount of use for part replacement.

The printer's test cycle and HP"s Scan Doctor told me this printhead was bad. I ordered a replacement and it came in two days. Unfortunately, the Printhead alignment cycle keeps repeating and fails. I have cleaned the contacts for both printheads to no avail. I must need a geek to help me solve the problem.

Love my printer; it just needed a new printhead. Happy it was easy to acquire and replace.

Product is great! Shipping not so much, it took almost 2 was to get this! Glad I didn’t need it immediately!
