My one broke 3 months out of warranty now I am sitting with a repair bill of R1500 despite the product saying 10 warranty. LG is just shrugging their shoulders. Not happy and never buying LG again.

I bought this microwave 2 and a half years ago. I like the look and feel, but the inside protective layer started to deteriorate (erode) around 2 years into operations. Now it is a such that I can not continue to use it. LG refused to assist with repair or to assist with any replacement or compensation. So don't buy LG - they are not build to last.
