It does the job on small (not profound) scratches. a cat scratches my trunk and you can see the pics.

Tried this product to rid my new vehicle of a few minor scratches. I was skeptical of the advertising, but gave this product a try. Used as directed, the scratches vanished after the second application of the product. I am very happy with this product and purchase. It will rid your auto of minor scratches and it does a good job with deep gouges.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with this product. now if you have a deep scratch or a small ding from a rock this may not work. But if you have a small scratch that isnt deep or a bunch of swirl markes on you car IT WORKS! i took a magic erase spong put some of it on it then went and did little circles over the scratch. It worked pretty well. I am a novice at car care but it seemed to have done the job.

This removed light scratches and lasted a few months. The slightly deeper scratches from small shrubbery returned within a few days. I plan to use again in the spring on our aging black car that I love.

Bought it to remove 2 scratch marks on the hood of my new car that were not very deep. It didn't not remove them, I didn't notice any difference in appearance after using the producted. Trying something else.

it’s not work for scratch

I just purchased a new SUV and it was delivered to me without having been detailed. When I was waxing it, I noticed 3 good size scratches in the clear coat on the hood. I bought the Meguiar's Scratch X and followed the instructions. Wow! Good as new. I have always been a fan of the quality of the Meguiar's line, but this truly exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone.
