Used this after Meguiars ultimate compound and the results were SHINY. Used both with a dual action/random orbital polisher. You can try polishing by hand but it will not be worth the time to just use a machine, especially if you're doing paint correction on the whole car. I used the Meguiars tutorial video on YouTube which I recommend. You don't need to use nearly as much polish compared to compound. No need to prime the pad, I just did two crossing lines on the pad per panel with two passes...

Didn't work on my REALLY BAD water spots. Had to use Ultimate Compound. Finished the hood, looks great. Might not need the polish. This is a daily driver, not a show car. For a 1996 Ford, it's impressive.

The item was delivered and there was a small hole next to the bottom of the bottle letting some of the polish out. Should have ordered it from Amazon, they would have taken care of the item.

Really like how well this works with or without a drill and foam pad! Makes the paint reflect and look brand new!!!
