4 PIN Infrared Speed Sensor
This sensor module is simple to use and can be used to measure the rotation speed of a geared DC motor by observing the rate at which IR optical light is interrupted between the photointerrupter sensor in terms of pulse frequency.
It can also be used to sense thin sheet material, such as papers, boards, etc., and is suitable for mounting under mobile robots with rotary encoder disks to measure the speed of individual motors as a tachometer, helping to improve the balance of speed between the left and right motors.
