This is a tie-down model, so use the attached strings to secure it to the mattress corners to prevent it from bunching or creasing.Layering: Place your bottom fitted sheet directly over the electric blanket. The blanket must always be used as an underblanket.Connection: Connect the detachable controller to the blanket's socket before plugging the power cord into a wall outlet.Pre-heating: Switch the controller to Setting 3 (High) about 30–60 minutes before bedtime.Adjusting for Sleep: Once in bed, turn the setting down to 1 for continuous low heat or switch it off entirely.
