Also known as “Boast” or “Big Talk Beer,” this game is a fun twist on traditional card games. It challenges your ability to lie convincingly, spot bluffs, and keep a straight face—all while trying to empty your hand before anyone else. Game Objective Be the first player to play all your cards—and avoid getting called out! The game ends when one player successfully gets rid of all their cards. But if you get caught lying... get ready to pick up the pile—and take a drink! Game Setup Use a standard deck of 52 cards (jokers removed). Shuffle and deal all cards evenly among players. Best played with 3 to 6 players, but works great with 2 to 10. How to Play Starting the Game: Choose a first player randomly. They play one or more cards face-down and declare their value (e.g., "one Ace" or "two Jacks"). Keep It Going: Players continue clockwise, playing cards of the next higher value (e.g., 2 follows Ace, then 3, and so on up to King), also face-down. Lying is allowed—and encouraged. Call the Bluff: At any point, players can challenge a play by yelling “LIAR!” If the challenge is correct (the player lied), the liar takes all the cards on the table and drinks. If the challenge is wrong (they told the truth), the challenger takes all the cards and drinks instead. New Round: The person who picked up the pile starts the next round with any value. Game End: The first player to play all their cards wins! Everyone else drinks to their success—or failure.
