Yalameh is a type of ian carpet woven by the Qashqai tribe living in Shiraz, , and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. These carpets have a fixed color palette and usually use nine colors in their weaving, including blue, brick red, green, navy blue, white, purple, and black. They have wool warp and weft. Most colors are plant-based, and the combination of color and weaving pattern is closely tied to nature. The origin of this carpet traces to the Yalma’i lineage within the great Qashqai tribe; however, the earliest places after Shahreza and Talakhonche were among the first fixed sites for sourcing materials and producing this carpet. The majority of weavers work in townships and villages on the outskirts of Shahreza, such as Ali Abad Jambzeh, Talakhonche, and Borujan’s (Borujen) county and its outskirts, including Somir and its districts.
