I bought this thinking it would turn my dingy whites back to bright white..... It did not.

I use this dye all the time and other colors to keep our blacks bright and kids uniforms bright

my husband wears black pants to work he is a mechanic, pants gets faded. So we don't have to buy new pants we use Rit Dye it keeps his pants looking new.

Ritt fabric dye was a product my mother used, and is the only fabric dye i know! The directions are simple to follow, but it can be quite messy. Be sure to prepare your project area before hand, as the dye will transfer to anything you touch! If you stay within the fabric amount per package, and specifications for fabric type, the result will be a rich and true color that won't soon fade! I always buy the powder, as did my mother, but i think i might try the liquid next time i have an occ...

Had a couple of older, but still very good white towels, and wished to brighten them up. They showed some signs of color thru years of washing with other bright clothes and this made them all white once again. I tried it again with a couple of pairs of white tights that got color bleed on them and was disappointed that the tights retained the slight color. I sure would have given 5 stars if it had worked, but I'm pretty happy with Rit White Wash.
