Poor results
Im very disappointed. I tried to dye a few pair of new, cotton, light gray, mens cotton walking shorts and I followed the directions exactly. I also used the fixative. I would describe them now as dark gray, not black. Not the results I was hoping for.

Great Product
The dye kit was affordable and easy to use. I used it to dye some faded pants and shirts darker. The instructions were simple and it only took about 30 minutes to dye. I would buy again.

Faded jacket looks like new!
I bought this kit to take my favorite faded black Levi’s jacket back to its original darker color. The kit comes with a bottle of black dye, fixative, and gloves. It was super easy to use. My jacket turned out amazing and looks like I just bought it even though it’s over five years old. I am going to dye my husband’s faded baseball cap next! Love this product!

Needing something black or blacker
I have purchased this kit many times to dye stuff black - not back to black. It works great and I am sure would get your black - blacker if you needed to do that, too. Plan on having about 2 hours to do it, but it does work if you have the patience.
