That's why we're proud to introduce Rit DyeMore, a dye specially made for synthetic fabrics like polyester, acrylic, acetate, plus blends that contain those fibers. And like our original formula, DyeMore is non-toxic and perfect for use in the home. Dye synthetic fabric and fabric blends (anything with 35% or more polyester, acrylic, acetate or nylon). Perfect for rejuvenating faded clothing, upcycling, hiding laundry accidents and so much more! Formulated specifically for fabrics made of synthetic fibers like polyester, acrylic, and acetate, this dye is ready, able, and willing to bring a fresh burst of colour to your favorite synthetic garments, household furnishings, and more. Even dye your solid plastic items! Get creative and create something unique with an easy dye technique, like an ombr , dip-dyed, shibori or tie-dye pattern. With 250+ colour recipes available on Rit's website, it is almost certain you'll find the right colour for your needs! Due to the complexity of dyeing synthetic fabrics, you must use this dye in a stainless steel pot on your stove top to maintain a high water temperature throughout the duration of dyeing. Cannot be used in a washing machine. If dyeing fabric with less than 35% synthetic fabric (i.e. polyester, acrylic or acetate), use Rit All-Purpose Dye instead. (How-Tos available on the Rit website).
