Ryobi 2-Stroke 950 W 220 V Gasoline Generator

Useless piece of equipment

I had this generator for over a year now and it working on daily basis since I am working from home. And it is working perfectly fine, it just needs maintenance every now and then as prescribed on the manual booklet

I bought the Casals equivalent of this generator (still made by Ryobi) in March. Since then I've had the recoil start (mechanism broke) and the carburetor (also broke) replaced. I didn't bother trying to get it fixed through Makro as who knows how long that would have taken. So add another R1000 to the price. But when the generator works it does it's job well and is fairly economical petrol wise.

I bought in December 2022, less than 6 months stopped working and took it to Game for repairs and I'm told to pay R367,25 although it's still under warranty. I'm not even told what's wrong with it?

I bought it less that a year ago, and used it strickly as recommended._x000D_

Love this generator for load shedding. It has enought power to use all my lights during load shedding and low noise.

If you are aware that small sized generators are notorious for having short life spans, and the 2 year Warrantee that this product comes with is the swaying factor for your purchase then please regard my advice._x000D_
The Warrantee is issued by Ryobi, not Game itself. If this generator breaks it will be sent to Ryobi who, as I have since discovered, have a history of weaseling out of Warrantees by claiming neglectful customer use. My generator lasted 7 months despite meticulous care and it w...
