I have used this knife for many years and for many uses. Excellent for sheetrock, wood, pencil sharpening leather crafting. I always have one handy when I start to do any job. The blades are easy and fast to change and if necessary can be sharpened simply by hand stone or a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface. I am lost without my Stanley retractable knife by my side. Keep up the good work Stanley.

I've been using the 10-099 utility knife for well over twenty years now. Occationally I'd pick up a utility knife with "ease of use" features, but always found this one back in the belt. It's mechanically simple, doesn't break, and only seems to need replacement if lost. Luckily, I still have my original.

I stole this from my dad 10 years ago. He was a professional carpenter and when I got it from him it already had plenty of use. I used it for several years as a home project tool, then when I began working construction I tried to “upgrade” but after trying 3 other knives, I came back to “Ole Faithful”. That was 5 years ago. I haven’t ever wanted to swap it out. It simply works. Buy this.

I’ve been using these Stanley utility knives for decades. They never seem to wear out - except the blades which are easily replaced. I’ve got a bunch of these and keep them in various places around the house, garage, and truck so I’ll always have one close by. Thanks Stanley! So glad this one is still made in the USA!

Great "Stanley" item - delivery was on time !!!
Had a little hard time opening the item to use . Not sure of their assembly, but, I had to take it a store with tools to open. They had a hard time too.... but, it was opened and item is fine

This is a great retractable utility knife. It's lighter in weight, nicely sized, and it works great. I feel much safer now that I have this utility knife, I know that it is well made and durable, and that when it comes to Stanley brand tools- safety isn't ever compromised for the sake of saving a few dollars. This is a great quality, long lasting, durable and tough utility knife! I would absolutely buy this again and would recommend it to others! Absolutely check this out!

This is so easy to use and the blades are extremely sharp which is perfect for my crafting! And the most important they don't rust so quickly like any others one do! Very good quality!

I have had this utility knife for years and it is durable and a great price. This knife gets the job done every time! I like that it is easy to change out the blade and I can store extra blades inside. This is easy to grip and extremely well constructed.
