This inline filter is perfect for use with Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) systems, effectively removing chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other impurities that cause unpleasant tastes and odours. The SUPERPURE External Taste & Odour Replacement Water Filter's activated carbon media is highly porous, providing a large surface area for chemical reactions, which allows it to efficiently trap impurities that degrade the quality of your water. This filtration process ensures cleaner, better-tasting water with every use. Active Carbon is carbon that has been treated with oxygen to make it porous for chemical bondage to occur. The water passes through the filter, allowing the organic materials and chlorine to effectively bond with the carbon molecules, thus removing these from the water. Activated Carbon's high surface area, provides a large number of adsorption sites for contaminants; this allows it to effectively adsorb a wide range of impurities, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chlorine and odours from your water.
