These weights appear to be good quality, sturdy metal plates and solid bars but the combination of weights received differs from those pictured. This is fine as it is for my child, so the tiny weights will be of use, but be aware.

4 stars because the dumbells aren't exactly like in the picture, and have plastic grips in the centre.

Also there are iron filings which can get into your skin. It took me a while to get them all off those star shaped screw closers.
Also the machining on one of the bars is a bit jagged. It took me over an hour to smoothen everything, get rid of all the metal filings, etc

If you want to buy this product, don't be skeptical. Buy it. It's perfect. Complete from dumbell bar, spin locks, to weight plates. Mine came with 4x 0.5kg, 4x 1.5kg, 4x 2.5kg and x2 bars which add up to 20kg

What I got is not what is displayed on the advertisme, I'm bit dissapointed in Makro. The grip is made of plastic not steel
