Weighing only 12.4kg this is the lightest wheelchair in our range which is ideal for transport purposes and management in confined spaces. If you want to take your loved one to the mall, for a Sunday afternoon stroll, or are looking for basic A to B lifestyle assistance, this is the chair for you. A low-maintenance, everyday wheelchair. Weight Capacity is 100kg. It is not designed for someone who is mobility impaired, and wheelchair dependent. It is designed for someone who is able to get in and out of the chair with a certain amount of independence, but struggles with frailty, and cannot walk distances. Design: This foldable wheelchair is made of aluminium with a comfortable 18-inch wide seat, of hard-wearing nylon. Its design is simple, lightweight and strong. Durable, and hard-wearing, the chair has a solid, moulded frame, with no detachable parts. It can withstand a weight of 100kg. In 20 years we have never had a return on this chair. It comes with a back carry pouch to easily and securely transport personal items. Wheels: This lightweight wheelchair has 8" solid front castors, and 24" pneumatic rear wheels, making it ideal for indoor use. The pneumatic wheels are perfect for indoor use. Should you wish to use it extensively outdoors, the wheels can be replaced with krypton, but the ride will be harder. Wheelchair also features companion-activated wheel locks for safety. Handbrakes.
