    Mi tv stick

    Hi. Just to help others. To power the mi tv stick, it's best to use the USB adapter and cable that it comes with. Not all TVs have the relevant power voltage to power the stick when it's just placed in the hdmi port on the TV. Do not use any other cable other than the one it comes with. This will sort out the restarting problem. Hope this helps. By the way I did not but this at Makro

    A good product. I was lucky enough to have a friend with multiple TV sticks / boxes and I tried a few out. This was my favourite and so I purchased my own and very happy with it. For those who prefer physical keyboards you can buy their TV box and get a keyboard. Also Google Certified which is very important when buying any Andriod box/stick.

    I bought the mi stick after favourable reviews on other South African sites. Unfortunately I struggled to even get throught the set up due to the stick restarting intermittently. I exchanged it for a new one, and the problem persisted. Some instances I couldn't even select my country (beginning of setup) before the stick restarts. Very dissapointed, since other reviews seem to differ from mine
