Hi. Just to help others. To power the mi tv stick, it's best to use the USB adapter and cable that it comes with. Not all TVs have the relevant power voltage to power the stick when it's just placed in the hdmi port on the TV. Do not use any other cable other than the one it comes with. It's a great buy. I'm able to watch my favourite shows from most of my subscriptions. I was able to add DSTV from the app store.

Works as advertised, fairly well priced and was delivered to my workplace in a relatively good time period.

So I plugged it in... And it works. Did all it's updates automatically. It's one of those things that you don't need, but once you get it, you don't know how you've survived without one.

A good product. I was lucky enough to have a friend with multiple TV sticks / boxes and I tried a few out. This was my favourite and so I purchased my own and very happy with it. For those who prefer physical keyboards you can buy their TV box and get a keyboard. Also Google Certified which is very important when buying any Andriod box/stick.

I bought the mi stick after favourable reviews on other South African sites. Unfortunately I struggled to even get throught the set up due to the stick restarting intermittently. I exchanged it for a new one, and the problem persisted. Some instances I couldn't even select my country (beginning of setup) before the stick restarts. Very dissapointed, since other reviews seem to differ from mine

Instantly turned my old flat screen tv smart. The device is connected to the HDMI and USB port for power. Works very well with DSTV now and Netflix. Very intuitive to setup and easy to use. I recommend this to anyone
